Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how to cancel a pooja booking, what to expect after you cancel, and which details are still being finalised.
Last updated: [To be confirmed: publication date]
How to cancel a booking
You can cancel a booking yourself from your account: open My Bookings, select the booking, and use the cancel option shown there. A booking can be cancelled while it is still in a cancellable state (for example, before it has been completed or already cancelled).
If a booking cannot be cancelled — for instance, because it is too close to the ceremony time — we will tell you why, and you can always contact us through the Contact page to discuss the situation.
Timing and notice periods
Bookings can only be made for poojas starting at least 24 hours after you book. The matching cancellation deadlines are being finalised:
- [To be confirmed: latest time a booking can be cancelled before the ceremony (notice period)]
- [To be confirmed: whether special-occasion / same-day requests are handled differently]
Effect on refunds
Cancelling a booking may make you eligible for a refund, subject to the Refund Policy. The refund amount, if any, depends on how close to the ceremony the cancellation is made and what has already been arranged. [To be confirmed: confirm the exact rules before publication]
Rescheduling
If you need a different date rather than a cancellation, contact us with your booking reference and we will confirm whether the change is possible. [To be confirmed: rescheduling rules and any limits]
Cancellations by us
In the event we cannot fulfil a confirmed booking, we will notify you as soon as possible. [To be confirmed: policy for cancellations initiated by the service (refunds, alternate purohit, etc.)]
